BIRAC BioNEST Incubation

BioNEST is BIRACs bio-incubation network offering wet labs, equipment, mentoring and incubation to biotech, medtech and food-tech startups that need specialised infrastructure to validate science-led products. BIRAC's BioNEST network now spans 95 bio-incubators nationally — 75 core BioNEST centres plus 20 E-Yuva centres — each typically hosted within an academic or research institution such as SRM Institute of Science and Technology or CSIR-CFTRI, giving resident startups access to specialised wet-lab and food-bioprocessing infrastructure that a generic incubator could not offer. Because each BioNEST centre is independently operated, the specific equipment, mentorship network and any co-located grant programs (such as BIG) available to a startup depend on which centre it is admitted to. This makes it best suited to biotech, medtech or food-tech founders whose next milestone specifically requires lab access rather than just workspace or connections.
