UP's new startup policy with a ₹1,000 crore Startup Fund, matching grants, prototype grants, and seed funding. Delivery infrastructure for this policy centers on the AKTU Innovation Hub, built on a hub-and-spoke model with 63 approved incubators now operating across the state, and startups admitted to the AKTU hub itself receive free incubation space for the first six months. The policy was formally cleared by the Uttar Pradesh cabinet on 6 July 2026, and its ₹1,000 crore Startup Fund is intended to fund the full pipeline from prototype grants through to growth-stage patient capital rather than any single instrument in isolation.
