Provides up to ₹15 Lakh for Green Tech, Rural Impact, and Women-led startups, and up to ₹10 Lakh for other sectors. In exchange, StartupTN receives a 3% support stake. TANSEED runs as a multi-stage funnel: an initial desk-level screening narrows applications, shortlisted teams go through a multi-day bootcamp with one-on-one mentoring and mock-pitch sessions to sharpen their proposal, and finalists pitch live to a jury that has included the StartupTN Mission Director, a Finance Department nominee, VC partners, angel investors and domain experts. The 3% support stake StartupTN takes in exchange for the grant is a common feature across TANSEED cohorts and is documented in the scheme's standard grant agreement rather than being negotiated per startup.
