Offers up to ₹50 lakh in matching grant or equity to DPIIT-recognised startups in Tamil Nadu with proof of concept / third-party funding. Dilution depends on the specific sub-program route. Now in its 8th edition, TANSEED has funded 132 startups since the programme launched in 2021, and it pairs seed funding with a year-long accelerator run by TANSIM in exchange for a flat 3% support stake in the company. Funding tiers are sector-differentiated: green-tech, rural-impact and women-led startups can access up to ₹15 lakh, while other sectors are capped at ₹10 lakh, and applicants must be both DPIIT-recognised and separately registered with StartupTN before applying through the TANFund portal.
