SERB - POWER Grant (Women Scientists)

The Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) offers this grant to promote gender parity, specifically targeting women-led deep-tech/health-tech startups for research and prototype development. SERB-POWER splits applicants into two evaluation tracks: Level I for researchers at IITs, IISERs, IISc, NITs, central universities and national labs, and Level II for those at state universities and private academic institutions, with awards decided by a Programme Advisory Committee that may call shortlisted applicants for a presentation. A female co-principal investigator from the same institution is a mandatory requirement of the scheme, and male co-PIs are not permitted, reinforcing its explicit focus on building women-led research leadership.
