KSUM Idea Grant (Students)

Provides up to ₹2 Lakhs to student entrepreneurs in Kerala to convert innovative ideas into prototypes. This track is KSUM's student-specific idea grant, run through the state's network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDCs) housed in engineering, arts, and other colleges, and it carries a lower ₹2 lakh ceiling than the general Idea Grant because it is scoped specifically to converting a student's prototype into an MVP rather than funding a full venture. A recommendation letter from the student's institutional IEDC cell is a hard requirement, reflecting KSUM's reliance on the IEDC network to identify and vet campus-stage innovators before they reach the main KSUM evaluation panel.
