KSUM Early Stage and Scale-up Funding

Kerala Startup Mission provides early-stage funding routes including scale-up seed support and access to Startup India Seed Fund via incubator channels. KSUM’s funding page shows scale-up seed funding up to ₹25 lakh and SISFS-linked support up to ₹50 lakh. KSUM's funding architecture separates early ideation support from later scale-up support: its own Scale-up Grant is aimed at startups that have already achieved market validation and need capital to expand into new markets, strengthen branding, or accelerate customer acquisition, while SISFS-linked support is routed through DPIIT-empanelled incubators under the central Startup India Seed Fund Scheme rather than being a KSUM-originated pool. Applications go through KSUM's standard screening and Expert Committee pitch evaluation, covering team, product innovation, marketing, and financial plan, with disbursal typically split across milestone-based tranches.
