Kerala Gen-Z Startup Fund

Announced in the Kerala 2026-27 budget, the Gen-Z Startup Fund (around Rs 50 crore) aims to back young founders building in AI, robotics, IoT and other emerging technologies, with innovation-hub support. Operational details are still being finalised. The Gen-Z Startup Fund was announced by Chief Minister V D Satheesan in Kerala's revised 2026-27 state budget presented on 19 June 2026, as part of a broader ₹79 crore package for the state's startup ecosystem that also included a ₹10 crore allocation for a 'Malayalam AI' open-dataset initiative. The fund is explicitly framed around emerging technologies — AI, robotics, data science, IoT, and virtual reality — for young founders, but as of this writing KSUM has not yet published the operating guidelines, application process, or ticket-size criteria, so interested founders should treat this as a forthcoming rather than currently open scheme.
