ELEVATE provides one‑time grant‑in‑aid to innovative startups for early‑stage seed funding to convert ideas into PoC and products. It is run by the Department of Electronics, IT, Bt and S&T through competitions and pitches. ELEVATE is run by the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) and, as of its 2026 edition, was expanded to four simultaneous tracks: ELEVATE General (open to all sectors), ELEVATE Shakti (ventures with at least 51% women ownership), ELEVATE Unnati (SC/ST founders) and ELEVATE Aspire (innovators based in Karnataka's Tier-2/Tier-3 towns), each offering up to ₹50 lakh as a fully non-dilutive grant. Beyond the cash award, selected startups gain access to the state's network of Technology Business Incubators and Centres of Excellence, and applications are evaluated through staged pitch rounds rather than a single written review.
