iDEX Prime Grant

Provides financial support of up to ₹10 Crore to startups and MSMEs for deeptech or capital-intensive projects in defence and aerospace. iDEX Prime was introduced specifically to bridge the gap between standard SPARK grants (capped at ₹1.5 crore) and the capital intensity of full-scale defence system development, raising the funding ceiling to ₹10 crore for startups and MSMEs with a track record of executing complex engineering projects. Applicants generally need to demonstrate prior delivery under a smaller iDEX challenge or comparable defence project before being considered competitive for Prime-level funding.
