Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX (ADITI) scheme targets critical deeptech and defence capabilities, providing grants of up to ₹25 Crore. ADITI was launched in March 2024 with a dedicated budget of about ₹750 crore running through FY2025-26, specifically targeting critical and strategic deep-tech areas such as hypersonics, AI-enabled systems and quantum technologies for the armed forces, which sets it apart from the broader-scope DISC/SPARK grants. Because ADITI requires the applicant to fund the remaining 50% of project cost, it is generally better suited to startups with existing revenue or investor backing rather than pure pre-revenue teams.
