Gujarat Startup Assistance Scheme

Provides seed support up to ₹30 lakh, along with additional sustenance and other supports, for eligible startups in Gujarat. The scheme prioritizes certain sectors. Beyond the headline ₹30 lakh product-development seed support, the underlying Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020 assistance scheme adds an extra ₹10 lakh specifically for startups with a demonstrable social-impact focus, plus up to ₹1 lakh in soft-skills training support per startup. Eligibility requires the applicant's registered office and majority of operations to be based in Gujarat, and the venture is generally expected to be no more than five years old at the time of application, which effectively limits this scheme to genuinely early-stage Gujarat-headquartered companies rather than later-stage or out-of-state teams with a nominal local presence.
