Assam Startup Scale-up Grant

Assam Startup supports startups through incubation and state policy incentives. Public startup ecosystem sources reference scale-up grant support up to ₹50 lakh, inclusive of earlier Idea2PoC support. The Scale-Up Grant sits within Assam's newly notified Start-up & Innovation Policy 2025, a five-year framework, and is structured so the ₹50 lakh ceiling already includes the ₹5 lakh Idea2PoC grant a startup may have received earlier in its journey. Disbursement is milestone-based and administered through a Nodal Agency that reviews applications before the state's Startup Council approves and releases funds in tranches, rather than as a single lump sum. Startups must first register for a MASI (My Assam Startup ID) before they can apply, and the balance of Scale-Up funds is meant specifically for raw materials, marketing and other commercialization costs rather than R&D.
