Startup Maharathi Challenge

A competition offering equity-free grants as prizes: ₹10 lakh for top 2 per sector, ₹5 lakh for top 5 overall, and ₹1 lakh for phase-4 pitch-clearers. It is linked to the Startup Mahakumbh ecosystem. The 2025 edition of the Challenge drew more than 2,000 applications and structured evaluation across ten high-impact sectors before culminating in pitches to a jury on the final day of Startup Mahakumbh. Beyond the prize tiers, winners get exclusive Mahakumbh finalist passes, national-level recognition and direct access to the investor network attending the event, positioning the challenge as much as a visibility and deal-flow platform as a source of non-dilutive prize capital.
