MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0

Selected ideas are supported with financial assistance up to ₹15 Lakh per approved idea through host institutions (business incubators) to build prototypes. This edition of the hackathon specifically prioritized women innovators and women-owned MSMEs, with host institutions such as KIIT-TBI in Bhubaneswar screening entries across granular sub-sectors — manufacturing tracks spanning metals, automation, EVs, aviation and UAVs; agriculture tracks covering agro-processing and fisheries; and healthcare tracks including medical devices, biotech, pharmaceuticals, and AYUSH. Because the ₹15 lakh award is released through the Host Institution rather than directly by the ministry, the pace and structure of prototype-building support (workshop access, mentoring cadence) depends on which HI a shortlisted idea is assigned to.
