Hyderabad Angels is a regional angel network investing in early-stage startups across sectors, offering capital and mentoring to founders accepted through its evaluation process. Founded in 2012, Hyderabad Angels has grown to more than 120 members and built a portfolio of roughly 85 companies across 75-plus investments, with more than 15 successful exits and an average seed-stage round size around $1.1 million. In 2024 the network launched Hyderabad Angels Fund I, a SEBI Category I fund with a ₹150 crore corpus designed to write cheques of up to ₹5 crore into about 20 technology and AI-enabled startups, formalizing what had previously been individual angel checks into a structured institutional vehicle. Its investment focus spans fintech, health tech, consumer and retail, SaaS, AI, and deep tech, with sourcing extending beyond Hyderabad to startups across India and select international markets.
